The Colorado LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1992– the same year Colorado Voters approved Amendment 2 which prevented municipalities from enacting anti-discrimination laws protecting gay, lesbian, or bisexual people. LGBTQ business owners wanted to assert
