Ambassador Volunteer Opportunities
Every first Thursday of the month from 7:30am-9:00am the Chamber holds a breakfast at
the Warwick Hotel. Recognized leaders and business owners are invited as guest
speakers to discuss timely information. Ambassadors are needed to help set up and run
the registration table and to mingle with guests ahead of the event. Typically 2-3
ambassadors are needed.
Typically scheduled for the second Thursday of January, April, July, and August these are
similar to the monthly breakfast. Professionals present a topic that is pertinent to our
community or today’s marketplace. Event is 11:30am-1:00pm at various venues
throughout Denver. Ambassadors are needed to help set up and run the registration
table and to mingle with guests ahead of the event. Typically 2-3 ambassadors are
Member businesses have the opportunity to gain exposure for recently opening,
relocating, or expanding. Ambassadors are present to help with the ceremony and
network more closely with the new business.
Once a month, usually on the third Thursday of the month the Chamber hosts a Business
After-Hours Networking event. Hosted by different businesses and held at varying
venues, this is a premier networking event! Held from 5:30-8:00pm Ambassadors are
needed to help set up and man the registration booth throughout the event as well as
supporting new members with introductions to other members. 4-5 ambassadors are
needed to man the booth for varying intervals.
Annual Pride Festival:
This event provides an opportunity for Ambassadors to really be the face of the Chamber
by meeting the community at out booth. This two-day event is instrumental in getting
the Chamber’s mission and image out to the public. A large number of Ambassadors are
needed to help man the Chamber’s booth during the park hours of both days.
A well-attended event in Cheesman Park. The Chamber has a booth here. Similar to the Pride Booth.
Annual Business Awards:
Once a year we put on a spectacular event to honor various businesses and leaders that
helped support our Chamber and community. With a networking opportunity, dinner,
and silent auction this is our biggest event of the year. 12-16 Ambassador volunteers are
needed for set-up, registration, processing silent auction payments, and break down of
Ambassador Meetings: On occasion, meetings may be set up to discuss upcoming events and staffing needs.
Emails will be sent announcing any such meetings.
NOTE: You may volunteer to help staff an event and then leave once registration services are no longer necessary or stay for the event. Please keep in mind that working the event does not grant free admission to the event.
Ambassadors that stay to listen or participate in the events are asked to please pay any normal registration fee.
